Prolonged sitting is definitely an issue in today's workforce. It's staggering to think of all the time spent sitting down throughout the course of a day. However, keep in mind that excessive STANDING can be harmful as well. The secret to standing desk longevity is to find the perfect mixture of sitting and standing.

There are several stand-up options to choose from, but I highly recommend finding a height-adjustable desk that smoothly transitions up or down. Simply put -- it promotes movement.
