I agree @Kaz - and thank you @Mygirlzombie for showing your way of displaying them.. I have a lot of old vintage stuff that aren't much use than to put them on display, unfortunately they collect a LOT of dust and I'm afraid that my home will soon resemble a museum.
And also where I live in Sweden it's very very hipster to own vintage cameras so they're soooo expensive, even the ones you can't use anymore.

It's so interesting to read about what it costs to live in US, I myself living in Sweden, at very "expensive" country. I recently moved from one great city to another and discovered that the prices were totally different, to my surprise. My new city, even though it's bigger, got a more international feel, offers more opportunities etc, it's still cheaper to live here.
I was so determined to stay in my old city because of work, and couldn't consider leaving. Until I found love and we started thinking about starting a family. Suddenly my work wasn't that important anymore.

And it gave me the freedom to leave? Why do you stay?

Good Design, Everyday Objects: Vases

I hate vases. They are such a waste of space. And then suddenly someone is nice and gives me a flower bouquet and I have to put the flowers in an old pitcher or something.. I wish there was a really beautiful vase that had multiple functions.. SO it wasn't just collecting dust in my cabinet when there's no flowers..

The copper conical vase is my favorite amongst these pickings.. Good one Liana.. :)

I really really love the IKEA sofa KIVIK. And your home looks amazing, job well done! I like it when people make an effort to find them selves in their homes, making them more personal. It's hard to go your own way when it comes to decorating and trusting your own taste. So this is a very inspiring example of someone who's brave.. Very beautiful home Julie! OH and also, love the green clock. :)

Great art! The text translates more exactly to something like this(I'm Swedish):

"I get sad by so many things I see on the news. But when it comes to children getting hurt I get an extra big lump in my stomach. Help me help the children in Syria. By purchasing one of these four illustrations the whole profit goes to Save the children's work in Syria(the text isn't grammatically correct from the start)."

Unfortunately the Nordic Design Collective doesn't ship outside of Sweden..
