My high school had a slide like that by the stairs. It wasn't supposed to be a slide, but that's sure what it was used as! A lot of fun.

I love camping, and I like the theory, but then I picture rain and wind and bird crap and pervs. And the idea of a screen doesn't comfort me - how do you efficiently fit it over the thing, anyway? I can't even do a tarp.
I am so happy to see this in singular, first person narrative, though.

Oh god, don't! I would KILL for an exposed brick wall in my home! I think it looks gorgeous. More plants. I like the green against the brick. Spice things up that way.

I don't care for it, but I do think that that is, at least, better then a torn up sofa. But prevention goes a long way - SoftClaws are great things.

You know, I had just come from IKEA's site, where I was discovering their expedit system. I was planning on flipping an eight-unit shelf on it's side to possibly use as a kitchen island.
So that clears that up now - I will send my husband here when he starts to grumble about me buying things.

Oh! I LOVE this!
I have to try to think of what I actually want to put up there, now.

I've seen a vintage tattoo-fabric panel being used for door covering. Maybe something like that.

I have a clock like this (the snooze button is on the underside, so all you have to do is give it a good slam), and it is a HORRIBLE thing for me. It is way too easy to have a bit of violence and then fall back asleep!

Absolutely ridiculous that they are getting so much advice from professionals and they still have a doodle in the works. Doodles are such a crock. They are mutts, always poorly bred solely for profit. They are a MIX. 50% you get the poodle coat that is better for people with allergies, 50% you get the retriever coat you're allergic to! And many people are also allergic to dog saliva and dander, so it still doesn't matter.
And, having experience in the animal field, every labra/goldendoodle I have ever met has been a hyperactive mess with a horrid, impossible to keep clean coat.

I have wanted to paint my bathroom black since the picture came up on here. It looks identical to the bathroom in the picture, I have art and sculpture picked out, we even had the paint. I'm just not brave enough.

I just started at a chain retail store, and we have to do the same thing. It sucks, but before that policy, employees would purposely damage stuff so they could have it. I wish they would come up with something else, thoughl.

These would be fun for the game room we are thinking about doing!

I am so disappointed. Please think for a moment. Do you really think that reputable, ethical breeders are going to toss their puppies, whom they have dedicated their lives and much of their income to, to pet stores, who will sell a puppy to anyone - dog abusers, dog dumpers, dog hoarders, dog fighters? People who have no idea what they are in for and will have dumped it off at the shelter within a week?
How are they being properly socialized living in a cage? Puppies need to be with their siblings and mother for a minimum of ten weeks to learn proper socialization skills.
And selling mixed breed puppies. For shame. The 'designer breed' trend is one of the most horrible things to happen to breeding in quite a while. Unethical people convince ignorant, naive buyers into paying thousands of dollars for a mutt when thousands more die in shelters. And those 'hypoallergenic' breeds? They are a MIX. Maybe they'll get the poodle's allergy-friendly coat. Maybe they'll get the other breeds, which is not!
I am really, really disheartened to see this on AT. Please read some of these links and educate yourselves.
