Yeah, the nightstand-out-of suitcases is cool, but I can't get past the skinned Springer Spaniel.

836 sq. ft. isn't that small for a house. Maybe by today's standards, but I owned a 1930s cottage that was 750 sq. feet and had 2 bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen and good sized bathroom.

Their place is very cool though, and it looks like they have fun with the hidden table. It'd be nice to see an architectural floor plan to see how it's laid out.

"Private breeder" = backyard breeder. NO reputable breeder sells through pet stores. Reputable breeders have waiting lists, have a spay/neuter contract, will show you the parents' health tests appropriate to the breed, and many will want the dog back should you ever decide you don't want it. This is so their animals will not contribute to the pet overpopulation problem where thousands of dogs are euthanized annually in Chicago alone. The Fishbowl and their "private breeders" have no such policy. This information isn't hard to find, but people put more research into decorating their living rooms than buying an animal that is a 10-15 year commitment.

I work in Evanston and refuse to shop at the Fish Bowl.
