@name.....I haven't been able to find any stores that focus solely on succlents in the Phoenix area, or perhaps i'm not looking in the right areas. I've found all the succlents for my backyard and front patio at either Lowes or Home Depot, they have great selections. Springtime Shopping Guide: 10 Great Garden Stores from Coast to Coast |

My pooches are so pampered , they would give me the side eye( if dogs could actually do that), if we even suggested a dog house. They have a doggie door and any time it's locked they scratch at it as if their lives depended on it. I like the first one the most, plus that's a super cute dog Five Inviting DIY Doghouses |

I have a drying rack that I love, bought from the container store about 3 years ago. It folds down enough to slide under the sofa when not in use. Using a drying rack cuts my laundry time in half, I run a load over night then hang out to dry before leaving for work. Everything is dry when I return home from work that evening. I'm able to set up the drying rack in the back yard, but out of view from neighbors, which was a concern of my BIL who can' t understand why I would hang clothes out to dry when I have a nice dryer to use. 5 Drying Racks for Life Without a Dryer Renters Solutions |

We have a huge shredder and I hate it. Not because it doesn't work well, because it's so ugly. I can't remember the name( it has a bulldog icon on it). It doesn't do the cross cut , just single shred, so I'm not sure how secure that is. Best Paper Shredders 2013 Apartment Therapy's Annual Guide |

I love the Christmas holiday as well, but this year i put away decorations on Christmas day. And took the opportunity to rearrange the main living area and get ready for spring. I don't have post Christmas blues.Which is easier because i live in an area that doesn't get cold winters, it is bright and sunny(less pollution) most days. But i understand the moody blues feeling during the autumn and winter seasons, while most of the country is participating in fall/winter events, my area is just beginning to have temps below 100. We are still waiting for our trees to drop their leaves so we can rake. How Do You Deal with the Post-Holiday Blues? |

i so agree with you, i know several people that don't celebrate christmas or any type of holiday. I know the two month holiday season was/is difficult for them, with all the christmas decor, cookies and snacks left in break areas with "merry christmas or happy holidays. I don't have a place in my entry for shoes. I expect guest to keep their shoes on when visiting. Also, everyone I know don't require guest to remove shoes. My first experience with being required to remove shoes was awful. The floors were sticky and cold, plus we were in and outside on the partially dirt patio ,so what is the point when the floors are dirty. I'm sure it happens a lot more than people, like to admit Do You Have Shoe Storage in the Entryway? |

Sounds like a great idea for any occasion. Don't think i'll try it for Autumn colors or winter wonderlands, I live in Arizona desert and have accepted it after many years of trying to fight mother nature. No Autumnal Colors For Thanksgiving? Project Your Own |

I too had to go back and forth between the before and after several times before seeing the change. I think it's great a piece of furniture intended for one use was was repurposed for another but I was expecting a more involved DIY. Before & After: DIY Custom Kitchen IslandDesigning Domesticity |

@Analog, we have a small master bath as well, I think 4x 10. Vanity and toilet along long wall and shower the end of short wall. The only place to store bathing items was above the toilet. My concern was also things falling in the toilet from the shelves. So, we ripped out the old useless vanity and my husband built a 42" tall vanity base with drawers for storage. We then put a shallow basin sink from Ikea and it is working perfectly. The total height of the vanity w/sink is about 46 or 47".it's taller than most vanities but at least we have closed storage. Perhaps something similar is an option for you 6 Bathroom Spacesaver Resource Guides |

I just don't think I can get on board with these kitchens. None look cheap and their not ugly,it's just too much. What happens when you don't love the color anymore, just rip out everything and start over. Although, I would love painted cabinets in my kitchen my spouse refuses to paint wood and holds over my head the one poor choice in color I chose for the bathroom and he had to help repaint. As nice as those storage towers are,I really don't like using the over the toilet storage towers. I choose to stack two small glass front cabinets over the toilet in my small guest bathroom. It works great for storing bath items ,but not for bath linens,so those are stored in a small linen closet next to the bathroom. Space Savers: Bathroom Shelving Units |

I like the idea and a great job was done, but I don't like the color. I think a darker blue would look better.probably because I love blue and painted my front door and house trim dark blue Before & After: Turquoise Front Door In Between Laundry |
