I second the foam circles you use to put on the bottom of sofa, chair and table legs. We used them for our hairpin table which is quite heavy and my our floors had JUST been refinished. They work great and the small ones blend in with the floor and we never even notice them. How To Keep Hairpin Legs from Damaging Wood Floor? Good Questions |

Portland Oregon. Enough said. On a $40,000 / year budget you can have it all. The house, the yard, the chicken coop, dogs, and the Prius (but more likely to see a Subaru Outback here). Plus we have mountains, beach, desert and forest all within a couple hours drive. Tons of local resources and support for urban farming...in fact there are a handful of urban farmers who even do it all by bike. Best Cities for Urban Homesteaders on a Budget? Good Questions |

oh this would be a perfect late Christmas present for my husband!
