Not until this post, did I realize how fearful people are of living in an earthquake zone. In Seattle there is a minor (no damage) earthquake every few years. Otherwise, it's just the possibility of "The Big One". I'm sorry, but if people in Seattle tip-toed around daily life because of the possibility of a large earthquake, then we wouldn't be able to enjoy the many things that we love about this city. Calm down, it might not happen for 10,000 years. In the meantime, hang your art where you want it.

James' Seattle Apartment With NYC Style House Tour

I am the photographer who took these photos.

James has endured the Seattle winters previous to moving back from NYC, and the apartment has an ample amount of natural light coming through windows. All artificial lighting was off during while taking photos. I'm sure he'll be fine emotionally.

Also, on earthquakes, Seattle only gets minor earthquakes every couple years. Planning your entire living situation around a rarity, or the possibility of THE BIG ONE, sounds like a drastic impact on the regular daily enjoyment of your interior space.

The place is gorgeous, James.
