I used mine alot the first year I got it but then over the winter it gets too cold on my balcony to use it (and too smelly to keep inside) and then it got stuck and I haven't fixed it so it's been languishing for awhile. You have to want to keep up with it. Still, I think it was worth the investment. Really cut down on the amount of garbage we threw out.

I have something similar and trust me, eventually the plastic will break and then you're through.

We have a project plan in Microsoft Project that helps us with the timing for all these things. Mostly we do what we can ahead of time and then reheat while the turkey is resting.

This would never work for us... every time I take out the suitcase, my cat gets mad because she knows someone is going on a trip and leaving her. If left open by accident, she'll pee in it, and everything in it. So frustrating!
