I've posted this in another section, but I just can't gush about it enough.

I use UNCOATED ASPIRIN made into a paste with a tiny bit of water, it falls apart easily. Keep it in a container with a lid in the shower and you can use it before shaving, straight, and get the smoothest legs (or face for the dudes) ever.

I occasionally mix a small handful of the paste with sesame oil, but I like it better applied separately. It's like 2 in 1 shampoo, never as good as two products.

The key is UNCOATED aspirin. I buy giant bottles from Walgreens for 4 bucks. Coated with never dissolve into a paste.

If someone does try this, please post and let me know what you think.

Aspirin. Uncoated, regular ol' aspirin. I smoosh it with a little water to make a paste and then add oil and scent. It doesn't dissolve like sugar or scratch like salt. It exfoliates beautifully. After all, it is pure salicylic acid.

Forget about the rooms. I'm in love with the Clumber Spaniels.

This kind of thing makes me crazy. Function first! The wax will run down the side of the candle and then onto your hand or table.

Pretty, but unusable.

Phoenix, baby. 70 degrees and sunny.

Don't hate too much. Cabin fever starts June with the 105 days, and gets even worse in late summer. Monsoon season, 105 degrees plus humidity.

Before you cover the doorway with any of the above suggestions, caulk around the door on both sides. If you use a non-silicone caulk, it will just pull off and leave virtually no marks.

I have one of these! I bought it at Home Depot 4 or 5 years ago. I dump out the trash and keep the same bag for as long as possible. Love it.

The books, the framed art look tidy, not cluttered. That takes serious skill. Kudos.

Love how the ac/heating vent blend into the art. Really brilliant.

I love the shiny red kitchen. It's sparkly and glam.

My kitchen is all white, black and celery green. Any red and it would look like christmas year round.

I made cork coaster from samples I ordered from Ifloor. They were $1 apiece and come in all kinds of patterns and colors and measure 6"x6". I like the burl in a medium brown. I used duct tape to make a wide and a skinny stripe and left it in the sun for a month (I forgot about it). When I pulled the tape off, the exposed cork faded to a golden color. Love them.

This room is all "pretty" and no function.

The rug is too far from the bed. The point of a rug in the bedroom is to keep your tootsies from getting cold.

The bedside tables aren't accessible from the bed. I don't want to get out of bed to put my book down, get a sip of water or turn off the light.

I can't tell if the drapes are on a traverse rod or not. If they are stationary, where's the privacy? If they close, the puddle of fabric is just a big dust bunny magnet and the roomba might suck them up.

It appears that the window area has seating for 4. Why?

I do like how sunny the room is and the contrast between the white woodwork, furniture and bedding against a strong color, just not that color.

Great point jamilkb. Unless you have a roaring fire going on a cold winter day, what is there to look at?

The flat panel TV is an amazing design innovation. Mine is mounted and extends 6" into the room.

Enough with the TV shame!

Guess what. I watch TV. Lots of it. Tivo has improved my quality of life more than the microwave.

Can I get a holla back from anyone who put their TVs in an armoire only to never have the doors shut? An amen from the people who shoved the TV in the corner instead of putting it in the prime real estate it deserves, directly across from the comfy sofa?

And the bed in the alcove is beautiful.
