Worked from home for 3 + years in my last job. My office was in a separate bedroom, I worked in pj's (showered on my lunch hour - had to take an hour lunch each day) and closed the door at the end of the day. Going from an office of 300+ to 1 was heaven...I loved the peace and quiet and loved loved loved being a hermit during the day, cause it forced me to get out and meet new people at night (I'd relocated to Denver where I knew not a soul).

Definitely miss working from home. And peace and quiet. And being a hermit :-)

Have tried this 3 times...first time my house got an offer as I was tamping down the soil...seconds after burying it (July 1987)

The 2nd time, I got an offer as I was purchasing the St. Joseph statue from a church office. (June 2005)

The 3rd time, I buried the statue on a Weds, my house hit the MLS on Friday, got a full offer on Monday. (Sept 2010)

I had a full sized fridge in my last house. I'm back to renting (for now) and have a mini-fridge which I honestly hate. Nothing else fits in my freezer other than 2 mini ice cube trays.

Used to be able to shop once every 4-6 weeks, now it's every week to 10 days. It's also more tempting to dine out since I don't have a stove/oven either.

For top-loaders, fill with ice and use as an ice chest for parties. Spin when finished. Done!
