AMAZING!!! Loved the fresh ginger and gingersnap crust in a tart pan. Poured leftover filling into its own large ramekin and enjoyed it on its own, too. Will try individual ramekins at some point. Thanks!

You have a great eye. Too much stuff for my own taste, but really impressive how you've made it look unified and tasteful instead of cluttered. Amazing job.

I would urge you to consider custom built-ins. We researched possibilities for a similar project a few years ago, and came to the conclusion that we would pay almost the same amount for particleboard wardrobes (from IKEA and other sources) and considerably more for solid-wood armoires of the size we wanted from fancier stores. The cabinetmaker we went with made exactly what we wanted, in a custom stain. In this market, I imagine you could get a good deal.

Love those windows! As a start, try moving the sofa in front of the windows to de-emphasize the long rectangular feel of the room. Pull it out a bit so it isn't right against the heaters, if you want. Also, I would shift the desk to the bottom left in the floor plan (where the bookcase now is) to keep it out of the way and create an office corner. Maybe it can even fit on the horizontal (against the wall with the door)? Perhaps the TV can fit where the desk currently resides?

Does anyone know what the table is in the second photo? It is exactly what I've been looking for in a bedside table.
