I'm pretty sure those are Metro Cubes by Boom. They're pretty widely available in white and wood tones but I had some trouble finding them in orange. Only place I could find is here: Where Can I Find Orange Storage Cubes? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy Chicago |

The cat stairs are awesome! My kitty would go nuts for those. One idea to make them seem more intentional and less shelf-like is to mount part of a flor tile on top. This would give Sugar some traction too. :) Small Cool 2010: Anna's Out In The Open Teeny Tiny Division #20 | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

I tried something like this but my cat ended up tracking the litter EVERYWHERE. I know this is a common problem so we just ended up putting the litterbox in the bathtub (we have two bathrooms). It stops the litter tracking but its really annoying to clean and move the box when we have guests. Anyone have any hack solutions that also solve the litter tracking problems? I've considered the modkat box but I just can't convince my hubby to spend $180 on a litterbox... Ikea Hack: Contemporary Litter Box | Apartment Therapy San Francisco |

Its hard to see the outdoor space in the photo to know if you'd have room, but what about planting some trees to obscure the view? That way you wouldn't have to compromise on light. I completely disagree. I enjoy food just as much as I enjoy living a healthy lifestyle. I think its great to see recipes that are tasty but recognize that some of us prefer low fat or low cal diets. I don't find this a depressing kill-joy - just a way of life. 8 Soups to Fill You Up Without Weighing You Down | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn |

Not to be a scrooge but you do the same thing with ecards that you do with paper cards - read them and then eventually throw them away. In my small space I personally don't have a mantel or other place to display paper cards and wonder what I'm supposed to do with them. And with people starting to green up their lives at least with ecards you're saving paper. What Do You Think of Emailed Holiday Cards? | Apartment Therapy Boston |

I agree that painting the cabinets will really help. The current white cabinets are really making the tile stand out because of the high contrast. Whatever color you choose to go with (some nice suggestions above) keep the value of the color the same as the light pink. This will reduce the contrast between the cabinets and counter top so you don't notice them as much. Pick part or your kitchen you do love and make that the new focal point - perhaps the view out of the kitchen or some nice new curtains. Hi Heather, sounds like you already suspect your migraines are diet related, but have you looked into any other remedies? I had horrible migraines throughout college as well and tried a lot of solutions. last year I started seeing a chiropractor and its helped soooo much! I know chiropracty can be controversial but if diet is something difficult for you to control this might be an option worth exploring. Good luck, migraines suck. Apartment Therapy The Kitchn | Help! Training a cat to stay off the sofa sounds like mission impossible (not that it bothers me). I'm just proud I've trained mine to stay off the countertops and that he only hops up on the dining table when he wants attention! Apartment Therapy San Francisco | Pets on the Furniture...Yea or Nay? |

Perhaps this is a bad suggestion seeing as you just painted, but it seems to me the easiest solution would to re-paint in a color that doesn't make the tile seem dingy. A chocolate brown would be classy and still neutral or you could brighten without white in a fresh green. Apartment Therapy Boston | New White Paint Makes Tile Look Dingy, Help! Good Question |

I actually think the brick makes a nice architectural element and contrasts nicely with the other colors in the room. Maybe it would be interesting to maybe make the brick a feature while disguising the fact that its a fireplace. You could make another frame (with the same type of wood framing around the fireplace) the width of the brick that would extend from the top of the fireplace to the ceiling. You could put a shelf at the bottom to make the horizontal line make sense and you could fill it with the afore mentioned canvas. This would kind of extend the brick upwards without actually laying more brick and create an interesting architectural element behind the sofa. Add some lighting it might look pretty cool. Not sure if it could hang with only a few screws though, but I'm sure something could be figured out. Apartment Therapy New York | Hiding a Fireplace in a Rental Apartment? Good Questions |

I agree with everythingistaken that removing the horizontal lines would make the divider look more homey. I also think adding some wood to the design would warm it up. Apartment Therapy New York | Translucent Room Divider System by Dan Forlenza Design Showcase 2009 |
