I'm on the board of my condo association. If you rent from an owner, you should have them contact the member at large. They should lodge the complaint on behalf of the people not the board or the management company. If your MAL is spineless then you have a problem. I gave up my freezer a few months ago, after running it plain empty or using it for storage for 4 years. I bought an half height fridge and increased my counter space.
