Are those shelves above the couch from CB2? I just ordered four of them, how do you like them?

Clearly the bloggers at Apartment Therapy have noticed the constant complaints for their use of "we", and it's even more obvious that they don't care. So what I don't understand, is why do people keep bringing it up?

Thank you guys so much for the help, it looks like I will be passing on this one. I'm glad I asked first instead of just ordering it and crossing my fingers. The only thing I have from CB2 is a bed and it's all metal so thanks for the warning on the quality of their upholstered furniture. The couch I have now is all leather which looks nice but is just cold to sit on. Thanks again.

I've been looking for a skinny shelf like the one in #4. Does anyone know where to get one? I want something to display vinyls on, I usually use the album frames from urban outfitters but this would be nicer and easier to rotate, I also like to put up issues of magazines like rolling stone whenever one of my favorite artists makes the cover.

Hmm, I was thinking it was just the bed and the headboard, but if he has the shelf too then that probably isn't a bad deal.

Is this guy on crack? That's the price you would pay for the bed brand new directly from Mash studios website. Even less that if it is a queen. It's even less if you buy it a 2modern.com, and they offer free shipping.

It would be cool if they made it in white, that way it would still look cool once you used up the pink stuff in a few weeks.

Is anyone else afraid of dropping a few grand on a sofa and then changing their style a few years later or am I all alone? I just bought a brown leather love seat a year ago for $1,500, I'm embarrased to say I got it at furniture row and now I already want something different. I'd like something a little more modern, I want to do my living room in white gray and brown, I'm thinking these are pretty neutral colors and that way I can just change small things whenever my style changes.

Eh, you wouldn't get much money for those at all, copper is worth about 1.80 a pound, so even if you stole all of those, you are looking at less than 10 bucks. Probably not even worth the effort or the cost in gas.

I can't imagine having two of those womb chairs, must be doing pretty well for themselves.

Anyways, I've been looking at the case study couch/daybed (the one in the first picture). But I haven't driven to Denver yet to sit in one, can anyone tell me if they are comfortable or not?

Does anyone else think its lame to put Apple stickers on your stuff? I recieved a bunch with my macbook but I can't imagine putting them anywhere. If a product is made by mac, it already has an apple logo, if it isn't then it has whatever logo the company uses. I just don't get it I guess. Would anyone put Panasonic or Sony stickers on their stuff?

My apartment is a work in progress, I basically messed up and bought a bunch of furniture at once from furniture row. I was able to furnish the whole place for around 4 grand. Now I'm slowly replacing everything with stuff I love. I'm just afraid my style will change and I'll end up wanting new stuff again, which gets very expensive for a 22 year old. Currently I plan on getting the MASH studios media shelf and the Modernica Case Study bed next month. Then I'll save some more and go for the Cross or Noguchi table. I would like to end up with Cozy Modern.

This is hard but I would have to say my favorite is Good Will Hunting, Elliott Smith is my favorite artist of all time.

But anything Wes Anderson is also good, as well as Marie Antoinette, Into The Wild, and I Am Sam.

I think a schnazzy clock would look great right there, I would center it over the stove instead of the wall. I found a really cool old mushroom one from the 70's on Ebay.

Sarah, they are a little pricey but I would go with Milwaukee, they are great. You should be able to get a great drill that will last you a very long time for under $200. I haven't tried them yet but Rigid (sp?) power tools come with a free lifetime warranty which also covers the batteries. I try to stick with one brand when I get stuff like that, that way I can buy a few batteries and chargers that work for all of my stuff.

That site is kinda gross, I can't imagine how many foxes, raccoons and rabbits it took to make those real fur blankets they are selling.

Speaking of overpriced versus quality, can anyone offer me an opinion on the eames storage units? I've heard people's arguments on getting the "real thing", built to the designers specifications and not stealing their ideas. And I completely agree with something like the Eames Lounge or the Noguchi Table. But this one is hard for me. $2,000 is a lot, especially for a few pieces of plywood and some steel angles. I prefer the neutral colored one as the one with primary colors reminds me of something for a childrens room. Shell out the cash or go buy a few sheets of finished plywood and make it myself?
