i second Stadium Mustard - great on pretzels.

also icelandic hot dog condiments - fried onions and pylsur sauce. hell, i'd kill for the actual icelandic hot dogs themselves. thought i could find them somewhere in DC. i was sadly mistaken.

i thought the apple find my phone utility allows you to command your phone to play a tone, even if it's in silent mode

I saw this at a festival this summer and it is easily one of my favorites this year.

Kevin Clash's story is fascinating, and while there are many heart-tugging moments it does not manipulate.

And it's not just for parents only - I took a friend with me who is single, no kids, and she loved it!

i think this is a cute idea...however, anyone who takes the time to do this is usually the kind of parent that does a good job of settling their child during a flight.

i understand that passengers get annoyed but frankly i am tired of over-apologizing for babies being...babies. we seem to have morphed into a society where one's life is consumed by kids or consumed with hating other people's kids. and neither extreme is healthy, IMO.

One of the most enjoyable parts of the show is seeing how contestants have - or have not changed. It's refreshing to see Tiffani take herself less seriously, and Dale seems to have his anger issues under control. I also love the more relaxed and confident Carla.

I know Bravo started working on a show starring Fabio but put it on ice due to the poor performance of Chef Academy. I do wish they would find a spot for him in the Bravolebrity stable.

i had just one basket at the bottom of my stairs and it worked well - as long as you actively manage it.

unfortunately when we moved into our new house i stopped doing it because the stairs were too narrow and my tall husband kept kicking it over and stepping in it.

am i the only one really disappointed this season? i didn't really feel feel much spark from any cheftestant. i like kevin a lot but even watching him get screwed over by sous chef selection was (to echo another commenter) not entertaining, just depressing.

i don't think any TC finale will top the blaise/lisa/stephanie one.

facebook is my least favorite option - mostly because people don't really take the time to respond.

evite is slightly above facebook because you can make it seem a bit more personal - but there's still the same problem of people simply not responding. in addition, i have missed out on invites because i switched primary email addresses.

i'd say if you are really concerned about people responding then mail paper invites. if it looks like you put the time in crafting an invite people might be more serious about responding.

Easy, Pretty Cookies: Snowflake Cookie Cutters | Apartment Therapy The Kitchn

i bought these cookie cutters a few years ago and i LOVE them! they work wonderfully with a good, basic cut-out recipe or gingerbread.

takes no time at all to use (you do need to use a chopstick sometimes to "poke" out the smaller cutouts) and the results are elegant.

last year i made snowflake cookies, piped with royal icing and added edible glitter to the tops. put them into individual cookie envelopes and gave them to co-workers. success!
