They could also be Bjorn Wiinblad prints. Jonathan Adler is a big fan of the mid-century Danish artist and graphic designer. I can't immediately find any reference images, but have seen similar prints in the past. Source For Artwork Seen In Amy Butler's Home? Good Questions |

I love the look of vessel sinks, but they just won't last--either in terms of style or of practicality. Now, the farmhouse-style apron sinks? Perfect! Are Vessel Sinks Practical in the Home? Reader Survey | Apartment Therapy DC |

Yes, these are Saga dining chairs from Broyhill. I have two arm chairs, four side chairs, a table (boat-shaped, very cool) and a sideboard with kitschy stars cut into the doors. The line was produced in the 1960s--mine was 1964. It was the American manufacturer's attempt at doing a Danish modern line--so popular then. I got my set for $300 at the DC Big Flea last year with an original brochure and purchase receipt. Help Identify Wooden Dining Chairs? Good Questions | Apartment Therapy DC |

I really like how they have updated the very traditional exterior, but I'm with the others who said that it's very definitely not MCM. Apartment Therapy DC | Sixteen Fifty Nine Mid-Century Modern |

Some of these pieces have really nice lines. And it's great that it's all reclaimed lumber. I don't see anything about how they put the furniture together though. Is it going to last? Apartment Therapy DC | Eco-Friendly Furniture from Urban Woods |

That neighborhood does have a lot of historic bungalows, despite the picture. However, I love the house. Why not incorporate a more modern look too? It's not like this is an architecturally undistinguished house. What I object to are all the faux colonials. I mean, have some originality! Apartment Therapy DC | Hot or Not? I went to the Design Center's sample sale last year. The range of prices is pretty huge--everything from $20,000 tables marked down to $15,000 to small fabric samples at a few dollars. Mostly pretty pricey though, even post-discount. Apartment Therapy DC | Renovations in the Recession and Local SalesThe Washington Post Home Garden Roundup 2.12.09 |
