This is neat, but I'd be way too chicken to try that probably.

Just found this post...I am in love with your house. It's like the perfect blend of my grandparents house pre-remodeling and an individual quirky, minimalist style...

My brother and I both went from cribs to twin beds. But I had that metal thing that prevented me from rolling out of the bed at night.

No babies for me yet, but when I was small I took baths and showers with my mom a lot.

I've had a boxer for five years in my apartment. She's not a barker at all, sleeps a ton, and gets tired pretty easily after playing. A brisk walk usually is enough for her. We do have a backyard now at this place, so we get to play catch and things. But at our old place we just had a dinky patio.

I moved out of my parents house 8 years ago and just now brought home my old horse's first bridle and her tiny halter from when she was only 4 months old. I have them in my hope chest for now, but would love to hang them someplace once I have a place to put them. I also still have my boots and spurs. :) Sadly, I sold my saddle, blanket, and lots of other gear along with the horse when I moved out. I lived too far away from home to keep her and needed the money for my first apartment.
Gosh, I miss horses so much...

Also, was it this crazy when Target did Orla Kiely? That stuff (from Target) is really tough to find now, even on Ebay.

I went to the Target a mile away around 1 and there was a bed set left and a little bit of clothes. I found some of the pillows on their website (out of stock online, not sold in stores) and i'm going to try to nap those sometime. I used to work at 4am at Target and used to be able to buy the good stuff on my lunch at 8am. It's how I bought a Wii when they were really hard to find.
Seriously though, I don't care about the name, I just love the zigzag designs and color palette.

Love this! I always see tablecloths I like but they don't work in my kitchen.

Easy DIY: Turn Tablecloths Into Curtains

Houses have history-good, bad, and ugly...and creepy. I grew up in a 150 yr old farmhouse. We knew a lot of the history, including that yes, people had died in it. It always creeped me out as a kid, but eventually I just gave the 'ghost' that I thought was living there a name and it wasn't as scary for me. If I heard a weird noise or a door shut, I'd yell "Cut it out, Tony!"
Seriously, it helps. My opinion-buy the house!
