I loved domino but find the 10.99 price point just too high. I picked it up, balked, and put it back. No thanks, i can get the same info via AT.

Am i missing something? Apart from the flower, yellow doesnt really figure in to the clawfoot bathroom.

For years (no probs yet) Ii have put water in a saucepan, lowlow flame, insert candle holder, come back in 20 mins, and wax is liquid. I pour the wax remnants (often substantial) into a vessel outfitted with wick. My leftover candle is multiscented, makes good use of "waste wax." Easy to wipe jar clean and reuse or recycle.

Holy cow, the narrative component to this is way too long. Edit please!

I dig the simplicity aspect of this feature. Cool.

The living room really reads as vacant and half done. Ditto for a few other areas that read not ready for prime time. The use of textiles on the beds and in the outdoor area I applaud.

Ccol, cozy, very relatable... unlike endless house tours that seem massively self-conscious and styled to death. Props to your huz for the lovely bungalows.

Miele is superior in every way. Essential for hardwoods, pet hair, dust. A total investment, to be sure. But they last 20 years no problem. I've had mine two years. When I need to buy one in 2030, I will buy another Miele, the end.

I have given this a fair chance (like countless others, I was appalled by the giant step backward) for a few weeks now.

My verdict is that the site is tolerable but really a shadow of its former self. I don't think "tolerable" is generally what one looks for in a web site.

It would be crazy in my opinion for the editors to not take the REAM of protestations into account and considering a wholesale redo. I definitely visit the site way less these days. Overall just a really bizarre step-backward remodel!

One of the more captivating and charming SoCal tours in recent memory. Love what you are doing with pattern and color. Especially love how you have wrapped sofa cushions with attractively patterned blankets--a great approach to keeping things looking smart/fresh... esp when pet and other mess making mammals (e.g., kids) are in the picture.

Answer: read fewer design blogs and mags and become less bombarded with information as to what is "hot" right now. When you spot chevron by chance in the real, physical world and you like it (! ! !) you'll pursue it without subjecting your interests to the self-conscious scrutiny that those drowning themselves in media and information 24/7 do.

Nifty out-of-the-way storage unit (is it?) beneath the dining room table.
