I have the same dresser. Got a great deal on Craigslist. The top, too, had many many cup stains but was able to strip all the layers of stain and then sanded it out. I didn't use any stain like Reeves. All i did was sealed it in poly which came out really really nice. I wish i can attach a picture to my comment. Overall, great job to Reeves for refinishing her dresser.

If you don't have the 2 separate machines already, try considering those all-in-one washer/dryer combo. It does cost a little bit more, but the space saving and convenience is worth it.

I actually did something similar to it awhile ago. But I mounted on vertical support beams to minimize the number of holes i put in the dry wall. But nevertheless, great job on the project!

@ GIT: I would still suggest you install the tv mount to the studs behind your sheet rock wall. The wooden panels would not support the weight of a TV.
