I am a dedicated purger, but I keep the wax liners from cereal boxes ... I eat a lot of cereal and this way I don't have to buy wax paper - saves me money and saves a product from being manufactured.

If it's machine-washable, use at least 50% less detergent than you normally would on a load that size. I don't know the why of it, but the tag on my down duvet has that warning, and the one time I put in the full amount of detergent I had to put it through the rinse cycle two extra times to get all the soap suds out.

The first picture especially reminds me of "Decorno", a photo set that is, primarily, of naked women lying on their couches. BUT the composition of the photographs displays some very cool, very symmetrical interiors.

Definitely not safe for work, but definitely interior decorating related:

I've been hoping you would do this for a long time but I was too busy scrolling past all the scavengers and city events posts to submit the suggestion. Thanks!

I've liked those bedside lamps ever since I saw similar ones in Miranda's apartment in Sex & The City. Anyone know where I can get them?

P.S. For me it's the smell of a real Christmas tree that makes it more Christmassy!

Real Christmas trees are much more "green" than artificial ones because they are grown as a crop (just like corn) and constantly replanted. They are then picked up at the curb and turned into wood chips to be used on trails or as mulch in city projects. Artificial trees are made from non-renewable resources and once they go to the landfill they are there forever.
