We co-slept (unplanned) until Felix was 9 months. I loved it. Definitely worked well with breastfeeding. Then our bed just got too small for three of us and we transitioned him over to his own bed. Now we sleep separately, except, like the reader above, in the early morning. We are slowly working on weaning (at 22 months) and all that seems to be left is the early morning nursing. We love that extra 30 minutes of snooze time. Apartment Therapy - Blogging The New York Times: Shhh...My Child Is Sleeping (in My Bed, Um, With Me) |

Honestly, perhaps it was the problem with the one we bought but, we have that push toy and it does not work well. My son had a lot of trouble pushing it as it didn't roll that well. The little characters are supposed too pop out and they seemed to stick a bit. We were quite disappointed. We have another great push toy from Vilac that looks like a frog. We used something very similar to this for our son. We loved it and it really is super practical. Ours is an Inglesina Fast Table Chair. Definitely a must if you live in a small apartment in Paris - many restaurants do not have highchairs! Apartment Therapy - One Minute Tip: Metoo Seat |

Love the bedding! I see some French connections in there (Sophie the Giraffe) and Roman is a very French name! I love the simplicity of the room balanced by the wonderful book collection. C'est superb! Apartment Therapy - Nursery Tour: Roman's Modern Nursery |

I love our Maclaren Quest. It is ideal for the Paris metro where there is a serious lack of escalators or elevators - It's not a problem because I can carry Felix and the stroller all at once. I think I would like to get the Techno XT the next time around. There are just a few more features that I like: better wheels, bigger shade/rain protection, higher handles, and the seat goes completely flat. And it really isn't that much heavier if heavier at all. Apartment Therapy - Survey: Best Stroller? |

I love these two rooms. Especially the no "Spiderman posters" and lack of plastic toys. (Although, if my son wants Spiderman I might have to give in since it is his room. I am sure we can find a compromise though.) Room Tours: Two Rooms in Sweden |

This is a really neat idea but it just seems to easy to make to pay the price they are asking. I can imagine some sort of mix of marks on the door frame and a ruler drawn on a book case. I am sure a tall bookcase could be found much cheaper and similar style ruler could be painted on. Or not, you could just mark directly on the bookcase. When you move, you take it with you! Sophie the Giraffe is the most popular baby toy in France. And babies do love it...I felt like I was giving Felix a dog toy but he thought Sophie was great! (Now you can buy tons of stuff with Sophie's face all over it; plates, sippy cups, videos.) Simply Sophie is the best and if you travel to France it is a fun and unique gift to pick up! Slinksn.
