I like betsy.buford's idea. Maybe don't do anything to start out with and have the first class to an open ended critique of the existing design.

@melissapauline wins for "most constructive comment" as it seems the property line is more the issue than how to distinguish it.

@Julcia is right. That's downright frumpy. Which is fine if you're going for shabby chic, but it doesn't even begin to look professional. And the body pillows are going to squish down really quickly. There's a reason upholstery foam is more expensive than a pillow designed for a dorm room.

Please do not open old electronics that contain coolants. It's in general a poor idea and will expose you to things you do not want to be exposed to.

It would probably make the vanity stick out less, too, if there's more wood. Bonus if you can't paint that.

You could try some Platta decking for the floor. Looks like it would be very spa-like in a bathroom.

Pillowcases!

They should be changed more often than I really want to think about. You drool on them. Your face goes there. You breath in whatever is on that pillow case for 8 hours (if you're lucky.)

Just when I was having doubt about my guestroom because I've had the bed this way for a year. It's a futon that looks bulky and unnatural in the "sofa" position- I think I'll get some poofy pillows and go with the daybed look.

Thanks, AT!

Mice cubes are great. They are cheap and reliable. We set ours free in a large nature park. While they probably get eaten by birds, at least they're being useful. My husband had some bad experiences with traditional mouse traps (just the tip of the nose getting caught in the trap), glue traps are just horrific, and poison can get into the ecosystem if the mouse gets eaten, so this is the best option for us.
