Um, I need this! I get stress and tension headaches from clenching the muscles in my face. As soon as I sense a headache coming on, I start to clench like crazy, just making it worse, but taking a couple of advil let me relax (because I've "done something" about the headache), and it goes away. I know that most of the reason I feel better is because I took a pill, not because of the actual medicine. I've always thought that if someone could sneak into my pill bottle and replace them with placebos, I'd feel just as well and wouldn't be putting unnecessary drugs into my body.

The problem is getting someone to slip me the placebo without my knowledge or suggestion!

(The same thing is true for insomnia. I lie awake wondering if I should take something to help me fall asleep. Or I take half a Tylenol PM (tiny dose) and have no problem falling asleep because I've "done something" to help...)

I haven't tried Mythic, but in terms of availability and price, you can get relatively inexpensive zero VOC paint and Home Depot. They have their own line of zero VOC paints and zero VOC colorants called Fresh Aire. I haven't used any colored paints yet, but I've used their primer and ceiling paint, and it seems fine; good coverage, no strong odor. I think it's about $30/ gallon.

I'm all for supporting small independent business, but I'm also happy that these products are available for the masses at the big box stores...

We wanted these to be good so much! We have a compost heap and would love to not have to throw away our diapers. But they just didn't work. The material they are made of is slightly scratchy and has no flex to it; our son found them uncomfortable and they constantly leaked. They also seem to run small, so if you're trying them, you might want to order up. We're back to 7th Gs.

If you like them and they work for you, diapers.com is a good source for them...

Yes, liquids in metal containers are the worst, then powders in metal containers. The BPA-free liquid formula I was referring to was the kind in plastic containers. Only the metal containers are lined with BPA.

(Of course, you have to check the recycling number on the package and make sure it's #1,2 or 5.)

This is great news, but I just found out that BPA lines the metal in cans of liquid and powdered infant formula, including Wal-Mart's store brand formula, called Parent's Choice (manufactured by PBM Products). We use Parent's Choice Organic formula, but apparently there is NO powdered formula on the market that is not packaged in BPA containers (except maybe Nestle, which doesn't offer an organic option).

As far as I know, ready-to-drink (not concentrated) liquid formula in plastic bottles is the only way to avoid BPA in formula, but it winds up being hundreds of dollars more expensive to use.

We live in a 80 year old apartment building and I was worried about lead in the pipes, so we mix all our formula with distilled water. (No breasts in this family...)

This looks a lot like a beautiful throw that I was given as a wedding present that got destroyed by nesting mice. It would be an a-maize-ing replacement for that... (yes, I actually typed that...)

This is totally already on my Amazon wish list. How did you know?

Best for a simple grilled cheese with fancy sharp cheddar on homemade bread (lots of butter).
