One of my favorite Etsy shops is Monkeysalwayslook. I have bought multiple succulents from her in vintage containers. She is super nice too, and even sent me a bonus plant when I bought a second item!

Anybody know of any resources for fake branches that will look this good?

Agree with above comments about painting the gold mirror. I did something similar with a large metallic framed mirror I bought off Craigslist. Simply tape newspaper on the exposed mirror and spray paint the frame. I used a spray primer first, then a few light coats of a glossy white paint. It turned out fabulous and was very easy.

My dad is the wine expert in the family, and he has the Vinturi. We did a taste test to see if we could tell a difference after using the Vinturi, and surprisingly most of us preferred the aerated version. I'm definitely no wine expert though. Totally agree with the comment above about the funny 'sucking' sound it makes when you aerate.

Why is everyone so tired?

In these economic times, I love how Eddie takes 'junk' from the flea market and thrift store and turns into something that could grace the cover of a magazine. He makes design accessible to ordinary folks. I wish Baltimore had such awesome flea markets. The one I have been to around here sells cheap perfume and gold Baby Phat knockoffs.

Someone is picking on the TP holder's position? Sheesh!

I think everything looks amazing. I am glad they didn't go with the copper pennyround throughout. The off-white tiles make it feel bigger and give it more interest. Great job!

Agreed with H L I. My kitchen has a green accent wall and mosaic tile backsplash that is more neon than the kitchens listed above

Excellent suggestions above (excluding the few rude ones). Paint is probably the cheapest way to add some design to your space. Next, hang the tv on the wall, if at all possible. The IKEA hack idea above from tifa33 is an awesome inexpensive idea. As finances permit, buy some luxurious looking curtains (Smart Bargains or Overstock - great deals) and get rid of the vertical blinds (replace with sheers). Next, a rug - make sure it is properly sized for the space. Can you paint the coffee table and side tables to match each other? Some more substantial lamps would be a big improvement also.

Good luck! Check out the blog "This Young House" for their custom mood boards. There are plenty of rooms that they compile for people that you could probably steal some of their ideas :)

Great job! Love the windows, floors, and tub. Believe me, I know what you went through to get it to this point. http://baltimorerowhouse.blogspot.com/2008/11/master-bath-reveal.html

Here's hoping that this isn't your only full bath in the house - we lived with out a shower for 3 weeks. I was only slightly embarrassed going to the gym and not working out, just to use their showers.

I like it. It doesn't seem overly trendy to me. The 4th one especially, seems timeless yet modern.
