1. Chug as much water as possible before going to bed
2. I second Michelle of Montreal; if you have pedialyte on hand it really does work to have one before bed and one in the morning
3. Vitamin B Complex before bed and more in the morning if needed

It's not necessary to peel ginger. It does not change the flavor. Many of my Asian and Indian friends never peel it when using it in traditional recipes. I've also had a professional chef friend who worked in several Asian restaurants say that they never ever peel ginger. If you're using it in a recipe where there are large pieces of ginger (and I can't think of many that would call for that) then you may want to peel it for a better texture, but if the recipe calls for grated I consider it a waste of time.

seriously everyone...these are all natural and made with only herbs and oil. i'm really tired of people making snap judgements about products that didn't come straight out of the ground with dirt still attached. in the modern/busy/crazy world we live in sometimes these kinds of products make life easier. i'm not claiming it's better than fresh but sometimes the best option isn't always available or affordable and we should all do a little research before spouting off ews and grosses and turning back to our organic nose-to-tail gluten free cookbooks with noses upturned.

I look online at grocery circulars to see what's on sale for the week and plan meals around that so I can save a little money. Then I go to that grocery store on Sunday to get non perishables and any veg or fruit I'll use within a few days. For the second part of the week I stop on my way home from work at a fruit/veg market a block away from my apartment to pick up the remaining perishables. I used to do all of my shopping on Sundays but always ended up with rotting food by the middle of the week.
