It's funny that this was posted today (yesterday?) because yesterday I went Stand Up Paddling on the Amstel River, and couldn't help but peek into all of the houseboats that I passed. There are some drop-dead gorgeous houses on the water here. What really got me was all of the tiny terraces on the water, and the hammocks strung up in the large plate-glass windows. I think I'm going to have to start looking for a houseboat to live on, at least for a little while...
