I think it's lovely. My biggest question though, as someone who lives with ugly, dirty tile-- how does it look so much better in the after photos? Where you able to clean it or does it just look cleaner next to the blue wall? Before & After: Nautical Themed Bathroom Makeover A Cup of Jo |

Ya so I really dig the roof. It's great. For some reason the asymmetry of it all makes me think of a quirky, quaint Hansel and Gretel-y cottage. I would totally go there. Maybe add some nice vines? And I agree about cleaning up the window and painting. Should I Change the Roofline on My New House? Good Questions |

Word of advice if you're considering a Pet-a-Potty: These can be really great solutions for apartment dwellers but only for the right doggie. We didn't know this before we bought a Pet-a-Potty, but Beagles are notoriously difficult to potty train. Trying to use one set us back by months in the potty training department with our little Beag. We think she was just really confused. Once we got rid of it it's like a switch went off in her little furry head. But for easily potty-trainable doggies I've heard they work really well! Queen sized bunky board! They're about 100 bucks. You could center the mattress over it. And you could easily upholster the visible parts. Or even just cover with a flat sheet. Full Mattress in Queen Frame? Good Questions |

This is a very helpful post. Thank you. One note though: I recently did a lot of research on polyphenols (the good-for-you stuff in aloe vera), and they basically get sad and die in bottles. Aloe vera gel is a waste of space-- but you could grow an aloe vera plant!!! Streamlined & Organized: Medicine Cabinet Necessities |
