Just popping in to say that you shouldn't be discouraged if something you like is from a children's line. Our bedside lamps are from Land of Nod, and the Pottery Barn Teen line has lots of cool stuff that is not necessarily "teen". If you like it, get it. Not getting rid of it and I'll tell you why... I get lonely. My television isn't my friend, don't get me wrong. I spend several weeks a year by myself (my long-term, live-in boyfriend travels home to India twice a year). I feel a kinship with other people when I'm watching live TV... I always know there are millions of other people watching the same show with me at the same time. I think about the other people watching a lot when I watch TV. Definitely worth it if you have low back problems; I've never had one in my kitchen, but when I worked retail (at the information desk of a large bookstore), I always had one. I can still picture someone coming up to the desk to ask for a book, and that feeling of, "Ugh, here we go..." because I had to walk them to the shelf and leave the comfort of my mat!
