Interesting idea, I would have never thought.

We made something similar to this a while back, sadly I will admit I was craving hamburger helper!!
Couldn't find it in the store so we made our own, almost exactly how you made yours. It was delicious, and super easy to make, don't know why we never thought of it before.

I have the jar pictured above and have always kept it in the freezer anninva with no ill effects. Of course it probably has lost some of its punch by now, but I just use it for baking so I am not too worried about it.

Wow this makes a huge amount of cookies!!! Hmm will have to give it a try and will definitely be whipping out the big bowl for this one.

Wasn't at the stores early on Friday, went later in the day. But I did get happily a lot of my shopping done for the holidays, and best of all I got a few nice things for myself ;)

My brother is hosting this year, he called the other day saying they were starting to try out new recipes and did we have any requests, I couldn't think of any. But the best part is I am sure we will be bringing something, it will be nice when he gets around to telling us. Which knowing him could be on the Wednesday before :)

Depending on how the night is going I usually give out 2 pieces. But where I live now we haven't had trick or treaters, so I buy the bag and then sadly we have to eat it ourselves!!

I have a shaker in my cupboard year round.
