MegW is right. Once you get the issue taken care of, you have to eliminate moisture. I have found that little things, like making sure the shower curtain is pulled (so it dries) help immensely. Also, make sure you use a sealing primer before you paint. Something like Kilz or a generic version is a must to seal it before you paint.
I had the same issue in my bathroom and once the fan and air issues were taken care of I washed walls with vinegar water then let it dry for a few days. At that point I primed and painted. It has been over a year and there have been no further problems.

gluten free? substitute the cream? Heavens, my late grandmother would be rolling her eyes right now. Actually, I look forward to hearing if anyone tries the substitutes, but as a life long lefse fan, I am going to stick with the cream!

What project would completely fit with every reader? I pretty much lurk and gather, but lately it seems there is an over abundance of whiny, nasty comments on how much projects are disliked. With every post I look at I see something I could use and something I dislike--isn't that what we are all looking for? I guess I am outnumbered but I take what I like and leave the rest.

I have to agree about the cooking once/dividing it and tossing one in the freezer. Even our family of five (with three teenagers) doesn't consume a whole lasagna for dinner. So I split it and freeze one.
As kls987 said--it is nothing novel, but on the nights we are running late, I feel brilliant and organized!

I live in North Dakota--as I type it is -26 before the windchill. We keep our thermostat at 69, to save as much as we can on utilities.
Seriously, we only have a very good down comforter--no top sheet, and we stay toasty warm at night.
My point is, the right comforter really makes a difference--check for temp ratings when shopping for one. The downside is: we cannot use ours during the summer--it is simply to warm.
