So different then my own style, but I like it. It looks lovely, I will agree with "ell.uu" the curtains would be nicer if they were longer.

I'll stick to my "Lucite and leggy Danish Modern furniture".

After, minus the barstool; I don't care if everyone has the Eames chair. They have it for a reason, bring it back.

This works because of the window; otherwise it would be to dark. Love that color though!

I must agree with several here and say this isn't very practical or appealing. It's just plain ugly; also it doesn't flow very well with the dining room.

Well to some of us thrifty shopper that is alot of mula. I hate spending buku bucks on anything. Especially on duvets; mostly because I have a little fur monster who likes bite blankets investing on pricey duvet wouldn't be wise. Ugh.

They all have their own personality but I'd go with 9 and 15. Less is more, I would throw a red Dansk pot on that stove (15) for a pop of color.

Well they made it their own; it has some good qualities. I like the floors, and the birds are whimsical. To be honest I liked how it use to look. The swing can go, and the furniture is oddly placed. I do love that "papa bear chair"!

The original house was bland. The new house has some nice elements; I just don't know if the neighborhood is right for this type of house. It's like if someone building a McMansion in a single story neighborhood. Just doesn't go.

LOL. I'm not so sure the one in the red is. Sorry but looks like an old frat boy in a orange jumpsuit?! Lovely table though.

If you are looking for MC design, these are my suggestion.

1) I suggest keeping the paneling, if you like MC design then this is part of the look. The color looks nice one thing I would do is remove the mantle. Maybe replace it with a floating shelf.

2) Remove the brassy plate, it's ugly and dated.

3) I suggest painting the wall built-ins white as to blend with the walls. Too much wood color, the paneling/ fireplace should be a visual point.

4) Paint the dining area, and put a rug to divide the spaces. I suggest gray walls since it goes with everything.

5) I suggest checking out the-brick-house.com. They did a fabulous job on their remodel.

@ cassielynn, yes you are a hypocrite but an honest one. How do you think dealers make their money? It's happened to many of us, we see something we want at a low cost, email and it's been sold.

Later on you see the exact same item for sale at a higher price. You can buy it or not, an item is worth what someone is worth paying. This also means if the item isn't worth what they are asking maybe it isn't worth that amount.

Best.

Maybe cute for someone just starting out. The plastic stuff is a little bit of a turn-off, I wouldn't purchase any of this stuff. I like true authentic vintage stuff, besides for the prices you are better off investing in vintage stick to CL and thrift shops.

I agree where is the kegger? If they were framed maybe it would work, well not in this room. It's unfortunate because they do have some nice items, but this place just isn't for me. Too young, and messy looking. I feel like saying, "someone better clean there room!"

This doesn't work for me, and did you say this was a retail shop? Used store, they clothing looking dingy. The furniture pieces are interesting, and bring the eye to the top. Other than that, doesn't work for me.
