One of the great luxuries in life is having two really nice sets of sheets, so I can change them weekly and then have several days to wash the others, before it's time to change them again. But you don't really need more than two (although flannel-lovers in cold climates can stretch to include a set of those, if they so desire)! I looooooove clean sheets. Also, I'm not sure the black (or navy) valance is doing you any favors in terms of feeling "dark." Replace it with another sheer panel, maybe, or something bright and stripy. I agree with the above comments - too many too-little tables and carts, and not enough "zones" in the room. Try putting all the media stuff together (maybe on that large, underutilized black shelf unit in pic 3), including the tv, speakers, etc. And get rid of the folding beach chairs by the front door, the light bent-wood chair under the mirror... these things just seem to be in the way.
