Charles Schneider Furniture makes the only blue gel memory foam sofa I could find.

After calling Future Foam last year they gave me the number to the only furniture company who buys their blue gel memory foam. I called the factory and was transferred to someone with the last name Schneider(I love small businesses when you always get to talk to a real person), he said they are currently testing memory foam sofas and R & D will not be done until "market"(I assume he thought I was a dealer).

About two months ago I got a call from Charles asking if I was the customer who wanted the memory foam sofa and letting me know it was ready for sale. When they found out I only wanted to buy one not a whole truck load, we both got a good chuckle. Since I live about a country mile from the nearest country mile I could not find a dealer close enough to me. They ended up referring me to Wayfair or Hayneedle and said to call them and explain that I want to add memory foam and to call Missy.

The sofa is great, you can really feel the gel foam mold to your body. When laying on the couch it is like a memory foam mattress. You should really look at Charles Schneider it is a small furniture manufacturer that is still making sofas in the same Iowa factory since the 1940's. They have the firmest best foam you can get and they are American made. Me being a very large man firm foam is a must. As for Ikea, when I burnt one in my trash pile it had maybe 3oz of metal and 90% paper chip board. I could not reuse any of the components. I have the front rail of an old Charles sofa that has been part of my chicken coop door for 10+ years, I think it is solid maple. I always try to recycle or re use everything so having a sofa that is made from wood not paper is something I look for. As for style I love Blue Dot Furniture, I have never taken one apart... yet.
