I am in total agreement on the neutral sofa idea.... however, I'm here to try and dissuade you from the r&b metro sofa.

I purchased one less than a year ago, mostly out of necessity because it is all that would fit through my prewar tiny door frame. It has worn HORRIBLY- the cushions are flattened out even after constant rotation, the fabric looks old, and i just really really hate it. I would hate for someone else to make that mistake.

yum on the chick peas. another great twist: drain and rinse a can, toss with olive oil, rosemary, salt and a tbsp of sugar, then roast for about half an hour. yum, such a great snack... and better for you than popcorn, chips, etc

Hi all! I'm looking for a new medicine cabinet--does anyone have suggestions on palces to look and a ballpark price range? Cost isnt much of an issue, my bldg has to pay for it.

Also--the previous one was wall mounted--how difficult would it be to do inset instead? Any ideas?

Thanks!!

I would be careful with a captains bed style.... many rooms in NY are tiny and you'll have to keep your bed against a wall (losing 1/2 the storage). Keeping pull out boxes (enclosed, as someone else mentioned to keep the dust out) under a regualar frame with a nice, clean bedskirt could be another alternative
