Nice! My first ("on my own") 2 apartments were in Columbus, and both were some of the most beautiful I've ever lived in, in Victorian Village area downtown (German Village and near Clintonville have some great places too). i believe the two frames behind her bed are neisha crosland wallpaper which i am SO craving but it's so expensive. good idea if you can't afford to cover the wall with it. i'd love to do the wall behind my bed in pretty much exactly the same pattern. i absolutely love it. is that the urban outfitters "edie" sofa by chance? i'm thinking of buying that one, it's so inexpensive and looks quite nice and well made. almost as nice as the Design Within Reach or Crate and Barrel versions for twice as much. nice chairs, too. love the colors. I'm writing an short article on "crazy creative contractors" in NYC. that is, contractors who have a reputation for going in and circumventing and solving new york apt. dwellers most vexing space issues and logistical problems. also looking for stories about situations like this. making a 3-tier loft in a studio, for example, or putting a round bathroom in the middle of a studio.
