Here in Las Vegas my cousins live in an area that is named after Star Wars characters and ships. I WISH I lived in those neighborhoods so badly, if I liked the part of town better i would have considered buying there just for that purpose. I also live in Henderson, so I know what Jen is up against. The big cookie cutter brown box and a town that has VERY limited resources when it come to unique or original decor. I second the motion for some type of blog, book or something that shows how to make a cookie cutter home feel like HOME. I struggle with decorating my Henderson home all the time. I think Jen did a great job. It may be a little young looking, but I am young, so I see no issue with that. At least it is something different than 99.9% of the homes around here. Since the triangle area is the place with the most natural light maybe it would be a good place for an office desk? You could get a corner styled or "L" shaped desk that maybe would mask the triangle effect in the room. That would bring a lot of use to the corner. Why would I spend that much on this? My husband can't even manage to get his clothes in the hamper when the top is open, like he would ever manage to put his clothes inside this hamper with that little hole on top. An exact replica of this is for sale on craigslist in Las Vegas. They are selling it as a bar cabinet. The below area is to store bottles and the top is to prepare the drinks. I'm going to add another question out there instead of answering. My cat has always had a problem with urinating outside of her litter box, she usually keeps it to bath mats, and such but since I got married almost a year ago she has started peeing on my SOFA! ICK! I know she is most likely jealous of the time I spend with my husband but I always make sure I spend quality time with her everyday too. How do I get her to stop and feel comfortable with my husband? I can't get divorced because of my cat!?! Plus she is slowly ruining my most beautiful and beloved white leather couch. I clean everyday but I know eventually she will mark it beyond repair. I've taken her to the vet before - no medical problems found. She is obviously just very upset. Should I find her a home where she would be happier or is there something I can do? I like it. I've been trying to get ideas on how to decorate my sons room in a rocker styled theme - this seems to work great for that. I'm a bit of a history dork, I actually did my senior thesis on war time propaganda over in London so I love the "Keep Calm" posters, as well as other war time posters/art. I don't think it is being disrespectful, just playing on history, thats done often. The site also has some other really great posters that brought a smile to my face. My husband would love a "poop on" poster though for the little guys room - he'd think that was hilarious.
