I am so glad you wrote this article! I can totally relate. My husband and I bought a vacant lot to build our dream home 3 years ago and have not been able to sell our current home that is "too small and too far away." And we just found out that we cannot get a construction loan because the cost to build is larger then the predicted value of the finished house. So we are stuck.
