LETTUCE! I love raw veggies and eat tons of them but for some reason I can not eat lettuce or most leafy greens. I love cooked spinach and kale but lettuce gives me a gag reflex that I just can't shake. All kinds, too! Boston bib, romaine, red leaf, you name it I can't eat it. I don't think this would fly in the public schools in my town and maybe the schools in my town are out of the ordinary but none of these items would be allowed to be brought into the classroom on a test day. I went through the school system there and it's the same today - we had to use the school's #2 pencils, never never never is any gum chewing allowed in school at all, and if you needed a tissue you have to raise your hand and the teacher will bring the box to you. The trick for me to avoid static cling without fabric softener is to do a quick tumble on cool when the dryer is done. Since I go to the laundromat - I usually switch the dryer temp from medium to low for the last few minutes. The cool temp seems to work wonders in dealing with static. I went paperless in the kitchen for just under a week and I was super diligent but then at the end of the week, I had almost a full laundry load of towels, cloth napkins and rags to wash. So aren't I just negating my good effort by using more water (and detergent) to wash all these cloths?? I never thought I had the need for one until I bought one on a whim. It's a smallish marble set that I pick up for $5 at TJmaxx. I love it. And it's heavy which is a very good thing. I stayed on Murano when I was in Italy in 2007. It was amazing to just wander in and out of all the studios. The bed and breakfast we stayed in had the most amazing hand blown chandeliers in each room and the bathrooms. The key for me is that I go to bed (and fall well asleep) before my boyfriend gets in bed. That way I get to fall asleep in my normal diagonal / tossing / turning way but get to have someone to cuddle up to in the morning. I agree with dantsea wholeheartedly. I love this beer as well and I was purchasing it at the local package store and inquired with the (barely legal) kid behind the counter if he could recommend any other brands that were similir since I knew this was seasonal. He proceeded to insult my purchase saying it was lowbrow and just Molson in disquise and other such mutterances. Yet! he didn't have a single other recommendation.
