Interestingly, I went in the other direction. I am getting rid of my Ipad and moving everything to my Nexus 7. I can't stand the walled garden approach that Apple takes, apps are more expensive and I find the Ipad comparatively heavy and unwieldily.

I can't believe you actually deleted the Nook app entirely. I mean, I can understand why you might want to use it less, but I can't understand being willing to walk away from those books entirely. Not like the app takes up that much space.
