I find reading material in the bathroom a necessity. I prefer poetry books or how-to books. Maybe even some nature books. I picked up the habit from an ex-boyfriend, realizing that sometimes it takes a long time for one to poop, and that's time you can spend learning something.

How does the kitteh get into that cozy little area with the amusing pictures?

While I'm not trying to sell my house, I do always have that overbearing feeling of too much. Creating clean, object free spaces really gives that open, and bright feel. I'm okay with no rugs, but maybe some potted plants or fresh flowers?

Pea greens, yellows, and oranges are so harmonious together. These colors relax me, and so do the images of this house.

My mother taught me a fool proof way to make pasta.
Add salt to boiling water,
add pasta to boiling water
bring back up to a boil
turn off heat, cover and let sit about 20 minutes.

I do this every time I make pasta and it's perfect every time.
