The 9/11 note? Really?

I'm guessing it's 74 feet by 64 feet, since the question describes it as "huge". I have a hard time imagining someone describing a 6'2"x5'4" sandbox as huge.

Does anyone know of a source? We want a 3'x24' natural-material runner for our humongous hallway, and maybe binding the edges of carpeting would be an affordable way to do it.

Where does that door go to? Would it be a useable entrance/exit in the kitchen if you put the fridge somewhere else?

Alternatively, most big furniture stores will have something in the same style. The wood will be cheaper and finished badly, and the joints will be glued and screwed, but it'll look similar.

The top photo is the saddest room I've ever seen - not just on Ohdeedoh, not just on AT, but out of all the rooms I've ever seen in my whole life.

Yes, yes, yes - skip the dedicated changing table! We have a mat for diaper-changes downstairs and a countertop-height Ikea dresser in our daughter's nursery. The changing pad has nylon straps to screw it to the back of the dresser, so we don't have any safety concerns. Plus, when she's bigger, we can unscrew the pad and still have a useful piece of furniture for her room.

I third leaving it white, but painting the front door something bold. I'm partial to red, but maybe that's a cliche. Maybe painting some of the trim under the eaves black would pull things together a little more.

Can anyone identify the exact, specific chair in the living room (the leather club chair & ottoman)? I realize it's similar to a hundred other brown leather club chairs, but I bought THAT CHAIR at a thrift store for $25 this summer and haven't been able to place it. It's exactly the same chair - down to the weird hump in the middle of the ottoman.
