Or, depending on the marker (the solvent type) and how easy it is to get the end off of it, just put a few drops of rubbing alcohol and you have a marker that is no longer dry and can be used normally.

Hmmm. I actually like the idea....not so big on the execution though.

As much as I would love to be enamored with the Air Multiplier. When I actually saw one in person it just seemed cheaply made and unsubstantial. The amount of air was nothing special. Cool idea, but expected much more after enjoying a Dyson vacuum for years.

Perhaps if there was an app for it, or a place to plug in my iPod? (joking)

A magic eraser will have it sparkly white in no time. works great on all those darn white apple products. I use an air compressor to blow out all the keys, canned air will work too, just a bit more pricey.

I suppose it all depends on the time, place, and plant.

If it is an overgrown mass planting, of course I would!

If it is someones prize specimen planting that is mostly likely pruned to the max and obsessed over....I don't know that I would even be tempted.

I wish MORE people in my neighborhood would feel the need to swipe a few cuttings/take SOME sort of interest/care in their surroundings. Alas, 'tis the ghetto and I will have to be happy with my own guerrilla seed tossing!

A correction, to a botched toilet paper roll replacement!

i.e. when they tried up upgrade their ceramic toilet roll holder, cracking the tiles surrounding it they opted for the "Wow this is a perfect place for a shelf" solution and knocked the cracked tiles the rest of the way out, and put in a box shelf.

This was done MANY times by one of my landlords. "I don't like that doorway...you know what would look great there? A SHELF that is to shallow to put anything but annoying trinkets on!" Or "That window is broken, who needs a window, lets build a shelf in the opening!"

They are basically the same as milk, like milk they provide nutrients for the developing youngster...if there is no youngster inside (i.e. no fertilization) then its just nutrients. Still an animal byproduct though so it oft comes down to a moral question and if you believe that the milking/or egg production is harmful to the cow/chicken.

Growing up on the outskirts of BFE in New Mexico, it was quite common to have a shopping list to send with the next person driving 200 miles to Albuquerque and the nearest Wild Oats and Price Club etc. It isn't something we ever made a special trip for though....

You just had to make sure you kept your mouth shut if you were headed that way and did not want to spend a day shopping and lugging stuff back for half the town!

many print shops do wide format printing for $4-6 a square foot on vinyl or even canvas, could be great for outdoors as well!

Did pathways in my backyard, loved them, I tried to go for the colored wine bottles but they seemed to break easier (I used a rubber mallet to tap them into the ground) the beer bottles held up great though, only had one break while putting it in. Out of hundreds.

recently replaced them when a friend gave us a ton edging blocks, then the bottles went to their recycling bin!

Think it's great, but I won't buy one...not until they break from ATT and allow flash. There are so many things that this "web browsing" device won't be able to do. It is so frustrating to constantly run into sites that are completely un-functional because the device your using doesn't support flash.

Whatever happened to a good old fashioned nylon woven web chair, with a little bit of wood on the handles, plus they fold up....don't BUCKLE, and can be updated with new webbing as the mood strikes....How other than shear cheapness has this happened? Only to be replaced by this....EVIL CHAIR!

Nothing better than a pot roast, some carrots, can of diced tomatoes, potatoes, and any sundry spices and veggies you can think of. I usually sear the pot roast first and then drop it in. Don't know that it makes a difference but that is how my grandma taught me.

I had the same problem, a result of putting latex over some oil based paint from years before without the proper primer. In addition my exhaust fan was old and cranky! I cleaned it up, installed a new fan to be safe, and rather than peeling and sanding and priming and painting (not my favorite) I COVERED IT UP. I used engineered wood flooring to match the trim in the bathroom, found an odd lot that was just the right size, just stapled it up with a brad nailer and ran some trim around it. it looks great. Make sure you have any moisture problems dealt with though because you don't want mold growing between the flooring material and your ceiling. (I was going to use bamboo but heard it warped and twisted too much in the moisture?)

I worked in a CD and bookstore during my college years and both books and music have always been REALLY important to me and hard to get rid off. Over the past month i started burning everything to my computer and backing it all up. I was AMAZED at how much room it cleared up. Now with everything on my computer I am listening to music I completely forgot about, not to mention sending my music collection to an old college roomie made her day!

Congrats on your new family member. I have two rescued greys and they are the best pet! I tried the cage for the first few weeks but neither of them really liked it. Even though the adoption people said it would make them more comfortable...they were always PLENTY comfortable on a cushy dog bed and the crate was donated back to the local SPCA.

Here in St Pete, a private company has had to step in and start their own curbside recycling program for a monthly fee. For being Florida's first "Green" city, it still has a LONG way to go. I have yet to see a single person in my entire neighborhood that uses the service. (the exception being i suppose my idol neighbor across the street who bikes everywhere in a city with limited public transportation, collects rainwater and hauls his recycling himself. He is just about the greenest person I know...It gives me some hope, and someone to look up to.

I try and I try, we finally managed to get our two rescued greyhounds to get on the bed...they were perfectly happy to stay on their bed. But not with me there! They will now sleep with my bf...but apparently (as my boyfriend is happy to point out) I kick and elbow and talk and walk in my sleep and they are having none of it...most often even my boyfriend relocates before the am. All I want is to cuddle! ;-P
