Nthing polycrylic. Modge Podge will be water-resistant, but not waterproof. I collaged our cabin shower wtih paper and polycrylic and it has held up pretty well for 5 years - It doesn't get wet every day and I've had to re-collage some sections, but it's held up remarkably well. I used the polycrylic to adhere the paper pieces (which were easier to apply than getting a whole sheet on, un-wrinkled) and then put a couple of coats over the top of the paper. The shower was paneled in formica sheets, so the surface had a bit of sheen, which helps in removal. If you apply it directly to drywall, it's going to be a real pain to remove without damaging the drywall. Good luck!

Pulled pork. Great to slow cook in the oven or in a crock pot. Serve as is or in tacos.

We have a 4 plug outlet on either side of the stove, a 2 plug outlet at the end of the countertop (where the phone charges) and a 2 plug outlet at the end of the island. For our use this is just perfect. Of course it depends on how many gadgets you have out. We always have the coffeemaker, bean grinder and toaster plugged in.

It's really not that bad.. ours always includes sweet and dill pickles, green and black olives, baby corn, pickled califlower and pickled crabapples. What else are the kids going to play with if you don't have black olives to put on their fingers or baby corn to nibble "off the cob"?

I should also add that the Pioneer Woman will be appearing on Bobby Flay's Smackdown show for a Thanksgiving smackdown.

We were Pepperidge Farm Stuffing devotees, too. Until I made Pioneer Woman's cornbread stuffing when I hosted Thanksgiving (a rarity). My dad now asks my mom to make that stuffing instead of Pepperidge Farm.

I keep meaning to start collecting mismatched china, but haven't gotten to it yet. I do have mismatched silverware for my everyday. We even chuck it in the dishwasher. Every now and then a piece or two will get particularly tarnished or rusty. I'm much less stressed when someone grinds a spoon in the garbage disposer this way, too. (Alligator spoon, anyone?)

Pumpkin squares (as they are known in the bakeries 'round these parts) immediately sprang into my mind. Although I have no firsthand experience, I would concur with bens on browning the crust first to avoid sogginess.

Both.. My grandmother was a superb baker and regularly made over 30 different kinds of Christmas cookies each year. She would start making and freezing her dough in October and then spend the latter part of November and December baking off her doughs. She kept the cookies - chilled or frozen (depending on the weather) in her unheated garage in cookie tins. Of course, it helped living in the cold Midwest.
