Grege Ave, Sweet Pear and Spanish Olive all look beautiful. I'm particularly a fan of Spanish Olive, but it's hard to tell without seeing the furniture right next to it how it'll all play out. I also don't know what kind of feeling you're going for in the space. Sweet Pear is much more playful and brightens up the space to equal that rug of yours. Spanish Olive would be more elegant and soften it the room, I think, making the rug really pop. Help Me Choose the Right Color: 10 Paint Possibilities |

This place is dreamy. I've always liked small, cozy, hiding places and living spaces. It's incredible how he makes every inch up and down work for him. The bathtub confuses me a bit.. what if someone else needed to get by while you're in it? where's the faucet? - but I'm sure it all works out in the end. I'd love to to live here. I wonder if he really does spend "hours" in the bathtub working... tepid water, pruny skin... waterlogged designs. This does not sound fun. Apartment Therapy New York | Richard Christiansen Lives at the Bowery Hotel New York Magazine |

sigh.. if only I was that organized. Your home looks incredibly welcoming, comfortable, well loved and lived in. I hope can see it in person someday.. and sleep up in that loft! beautiful, lots of color, but it's energizing rather than overwhelming. Exactly the feeling I want to have in my kitchen. I'm particularly struck by the cabinets with their two-toned stain thing happening. It's something I never would have thought of, and such a nice touch. A man cave is an adult playroom. It's geared toward comfort, not beauty, and that allows us to really enjoy ourselves rather than worry about cleaning up all the time. It becomes gender specific only when a certain hobby needs to be represented, like poker or hunting. Apartment Therapy San Francisco | The Man Room |

hahaha, I think I might have the start of one in my new place. The man and I moved into a two bedroom less than three months ago and we decided to break the rooms up so that, rather than an office and a bedroom, we each kind of get our own personal room/space. My room, which acts as the sleeping area, has my clothes, keyboard, desk etc.. all my stuff. The other room has his desk and clothes, a futon, his PlayStation, his laptop and a flatscreen mounted on the wall just above it. He has also started showcasing his collection of Air Jordans and other basketball paraphenalia, and is thinking about getting a little fridge to put under the desk. I guess this would be considered a man room! Little did I know such a thing was happening under my roof until you put a name to it! Apartment Therapy San Francisco | The Man Room |

I love my draped, hanging duvet because it allows me to tuck the bottom up under my feet at night, making a cozy little barrier from monsters under the bed (yes, this is a remnant from childhood that still comforts me today). If I had a beautiful platform bed though, I would have to convert to the tucked look and just assume that if the sheets are tucked under a mattress, nothing could get through anyway :) Apartment Therapy Boston | Duvets and Comforters: Do You Tuck or Drape? |

I love bright colors, but had to teach myself (after many decorating failures) that a color you love on your clothes or in lampshade does not necessarily look good covering an entire room's worth of walls. The pic above makes me really happy because there's a crisp white above and below it which breaks up the color and would allow me to breathe in that space. If the white wasn't there it might be too overwhelming, and I would want a large white canvas of some sort and lots of white or black furniture to break it up. I'm a little late seeing this one... found it while searching for wall treatments. Does anyone know where I can find the tree wallpaper used in the bedroom? I love it! Apartment Therapy Los Angeles | Southwest #24: Lincoln's Three and a Half Stories |
