I seriously, seriously, seriously need to get organized. My desk drawer is so filled with bills and recipts that I can barely open it. Another tip is any bill that has been sitting in your drawer for over a year, toss it. Like cell phone, etc. For tax papers, you need to keep that for 6 years, well here in Canada we do. Our dogs kibble is in a Milk Bone large plastic container that we reuse. We took the plastic cover off of it and it is sitting next to the recycling box. You were by Corner Gas?! Jealous. Now that the show is coming to an end I can go to see the set! cries I love living in Manitoba.. Sure "there may not be a lot going on", but I love the landscape. Corn, flax, and mustard seed fields that go on forever! It's like you can almost see the ocean from the middle of the country! The newspaper building moved; there is now this 8 foot brick wall that lines the river. If there is a threat of a flood, huge metal doors close so that water won't get in. (http://images.publicradio.org/content/2007/04/10/20070410_floodwall_2.jpg) Downtown has been revitalized; there is a huge farmer's market in the summer on Saturdays and there are now a lot of restauraunts there and some businesses that were there prior to the flood have moved back. Mine may be funny because it's a small town, but my escape is to Grand Forks, ND. When I was at the Minneapolis Ikea in October, I had taken my Fall catelogue with things marked off so I can buy them. THEY WERE ALL ON SALE! 32 piece set flatware - $2.99! 6 piece drinking glasses - $3.99! I walked out there with a large bag of stuff for $49! That's a deal! Oh yeah, a $3.00 umbrella! What a deal!
