does anyone know where i can get a clock that i can turn off the illumination at night? that would be brilliant!

i think there is a way to do the modern classics (aka greatest hits i assume) in a way that's fresh and fits your life. all this backlash over eames chairs and what not? it's like saying you shouldn't have a little black dress in your closet. you shouldn't have a closet full of them, sure, but there are some pieces that are timeless for a reason.
i feel like hating on these modern classics is becoming almost as trendy here at AT as the pieces themselves.

i love the look of it, but i was just watching hgtv's top 25 design mistakes, and this was one of them. merely because it's uncomfortable for guests to sit hunched over on a bench for 2-3 hours at a dinner party. on a block of wood.

i recently swapped out two silver picture frames for some red ones in the bedroom, and it made a world of difference.

share a nanny with a friend. it's also an instant playdate.
have dinner in, then go out for a beer or wine so you still get out.

LOVE this. it's colorful without seeming like easter eggs or a daycare as seen in some other entries.

the structure of the home is beautiful but the colors are a little much, comes off kind of like easter eggs.

i agree it is beautiful, but it's almost overly styled and not very homey.
