This is quite possibly the dumbest post of all time. I mean. SERIOUSY? Seriously.

Breaking pasta in half is not permissible. Also, you only have to wait like 15 seconds for it to be pushed down into the pot and totally submerged. I definitely wouldn't wait a few minutes before doing so, otherwise half the pasta will be under cooked.

Dear friends,
I'm throwing a party. Please bring the meat. And the alcohol. And if you don't mind, please bring a dish to pass as well.

I'd sooner die.

Perhaps as a compote or glaze for a pork tenderloin. I would cook down some strawberries with balsamic vinegar, salt, and pepper, mash it up, and glaze the roast. Yum! Not too hot of an oven otherwise the sugars will burn. So maybe it's a finishing glaze. Thoughts?

I love me some roasted chicken. I finely chop rosemary and make a butter paste with it and rub that under the skin. Then liberally salt and pepper the top, stuff with a whole lemon, garlic, and rosemary. Yum! Definitely a fan favorite, too.

@jmorri26: I don't think anyone implied that this topic is anywhere close to the realm of diffusing a bomb. And PS. scientifically speaking, colder ingredients do make for flakier crust. But I'm sure your crust tastes like anger, regardless.

Crisco all the way. And a pastry cutter. And ice water. It's how my grandma does it, it's how my mom does it, and it's how I do it. Best crust ever. Light and flaky. Love to see that there's not a revolt here against Crisco.

Basically nothing until you can even consider food. Then some bites of saltines and ice pops. Graduate to a poached egg on buttered toast. Cranberry juice mixed with 7up and a twist of lemon. Ugh. Food poisoning is the worst.
