Hahaha, we have a love for the same arms, couch and color! My couch is also taupe. And I've painted my walls a blue gray, that also change in the light. I think it's a lovely combination, especially with the dark wood accent pieces, and will look great. That's exactly what I was thinking! And I happen to have a couch that is very similar to that one. I love the shape of it because it's not too contemporary and not too traditional.
