sorry Forestdweller you've been in the forest too long!!! there is no photoshop going on there!!! that is the view and that is what makes it fabulous!!! it is a gorgeous hotel with the most amazing views!!!! every room has floor to ceiling windows and they are brilliantly designed!!!maybe you should see it before trashing the pic.

this is the real deal. most people live in a mess. go and see the patti smith movie. she lives the same way. the rock god and goddess share the same interior decorator. genius.

so sad to see a classic vintage stool getting the shaft. respect for classic design has gone right out the window here. so sad.

hello. you are shopping at west elm. you are NOT shopping at pratesi. the pintuck is fab and holds up really well. the thread count for a duvet at that price you cannot find anywhere else!! details are great and looks amazing after many washes!!! color choices are perfect!!! their bedding looks better than anywhere!!!

was sooo looking forward to this book. pre-ordered it, blah, blah....was looking for major excitement and newness, so not there. do we really need to see the editors homes and children self promoting themselves in their book. what is so great about them in the first place to be in the book?? there are so many interesting and creative people out there with great interiors. it is time they did some foot work and got out there and put some newness in the mag. they should have done it for the book!! you don't need the book if you already have the back issues!!! we all know how to paint a wall.

mid-century modern.....NOT. ditch those hideous pink pillows on the tulip chairs.....how insulting!!! what is the point of the cow pillows on the cabinet??????? really? this is a very confused interior.
