I LOVE Todd Farm. My husband grew up just up the street from there in Ipswich, and we regularly go on weekends to scout the deals. I'm so happy that Boston is finally getting some solid representation on AT. The best thing about your home is that I feel I can relate to it, even when stuffed in a tiny apartment. Especially I love that we have a regional reference- as close as Boston and New York are, I feel like our homes and spaces are completely different. The local paintings and nods to specific Boston landmarks make my heart so happy. Beautiful house and BEST of luck to you. I want to hear/see more. I have been collecting fabrics and saving t-shirts to make memory quilts and little projects for gifts. A newlywed teacher who gave up a public school job in order to teach preschool for Head Start, I need to cut corners in any way possible, and I know that having a solid sewing machine would let me make something nice without spending a lot of money.
